Tableware

Eeva Jokinen tableware is manufactured of soft paste porcelain with little amount of bone ash to increase the whiteness. Unique bowls are made by throwi, smaller production pieces are casted. Products are dishwasher proof and it is recommended, to keep the white white.

I use classical simple forms to act as a base to the decoration. Light is the most important element in my work and the simple shape gives room to it.

Since the process of making rice grain porcelain has many handmade stages, each piece is different. This variation is part of the elegance of my products and gives them extra value.

The glaze i use has been tested and proved to be up to the regirements as Parliament and Commission Regulation 1935/2004/EY of food eligibility has provided.
